Spreewaldhof Cornichons, 24 oz glass

Cornichons
Sold out!

Cornichon is the French word for Gherkin. Cornichons have become known as the very small and crunchy French pickles.

So here we have German pickles by a French name? Yes! The Germans go by the rule that any pickle 2.75 inches or less qualifies to be called Cornichon. The smaller the pickle the crunchier it is. The size rule ensures crunchiness!

However, the recipe is quite different from the French original. These German Cornichons contain less sugar than the French ones.

Ingredients: gherkins, vinegar, sugar, onions, salt, dill, mustard, spices, flavor. Contains no preservatives and no sweeteners.

Drained weight: 12.7 oz (360 grams)
Net weight: 23.6 oz (670 grams)

Grown and packed in Germany
