What is Rote Beete?

Rote Beete is German for red beets, also known as beetroot. Romans found this vegetable in North Africa and introduced it to Europe.

Why should I eat Red Beets?

Red beets is rich in potent antioxidants and nutrients, including magnesium, sodium, potassium, vitamin C, and boron. The deep red color is due to the high content of betanine, which helps to reduce blood pressure. If you are a garlic lover, red beets reduce the effect of garlic breath.
